Did Matt and Amy Roloff of 'Little People Big World' Actually Sell Their Farm?

The new promo for Little People, Big World is seriously upsetting.

  • TLC's Little People Big World is returning on April 2 at 9 p.m. ET for season 14.
  • In a newly released teaser, Amy and Matt are seriously considering selling the farm.
  • Here's what we know about the fate of Roloff Farms.

The Roloff family is coming back April 2 with an all new season of Little People, Big World on TLC.

According to the show's newest teaser (below), season 14 is going to be packed with all sorts of shocking twists and turns. One of those surprises includes a huge decision about whether or not Amy and Matt are going to keep running Roloff Farms — a property they've owned together since 1990. Naturally, as fans of the show, we need to know if Amy and Matt are actually selling the farm/is it already sold?!

Did the Roloffs sell the farm?

Of course, viewers of the show will have to wait until season 14 premieres to definitively find out what Amy and Matt decided. But if we had to take a guess, we'd say they didn't.

On the one hand, it's totally valid to think that they did, considering reports that surfaced in June of last year claiming that Matt sold off his Portland home near the farm for $515,000. On top of that, Matt has complained in past episodes of LPBW that the farm was "a burden" and there was "part of him [that] wants to sell the farm and liquidate it."

But perhaps the biggest piece of evidence that Matt didn't sell was when when hopped on Facebook Live in July 2018 and said that he bought a house in Arizona as an "investment property" and that he wasn't permanently moving down there.

He also clarified that "he's not giving up on the farm," and that "there's no way he could be away from his grand babies for more than a couple of weeks at a time." On top of that, Matt has posted several Instagrams where he refers to Roloff Farms as "his home" and looks to still be very active on the grounds as of this year.

But again, that was in July ...

And what about Amy, did she move off the farm?

As for Matt's ex-wife Amy, she, too, has hinted that she and boyfriend Chris Marek were considering moving away. On top of that, an Instagram post from May 2018 showed her "purging" some of the things in her pantry, prompting fans to wonder if she was looking to pack up and get off the farm.

Again, we think it's unlikely that she did. The spoilers revealed in the teaser show that Amy has been given the option of accepting a buy out. She explicitly says that if she takes the buy out, she will most likely “never step foot on this piece of property ever again." Of course, she could be exaggerating, but Amy's Instagrams prove that she has been on the farm several times over the past few months.

No matter what happens though, season 14 is going to be a big one.

Whether or not Matt and Amy walk away from the farm, the new season will have plenty of other of life-altering events ahead for the Roloffs. We'll see Zach and Tori juggle raising little Jackson while dealing with Zach's health problems and financial woes, Matt and his girlfriend Caryn's travels, and so much more.

Basically, April 2 needs to hurry on up already, because we can't wait much longer.
